AP Testing Registration window is only open until February 28 (no registration next week during break). Talk to Ms. Moyoli if you need a fee reduction.

If you are thinking about taking AP Chemistry next year, go to room 135 at lunch for information.

Students, there will be an info session for the new AP Integrated Pseudo-Science on Tuesday, Feb 28 in the basement of the main building during lunch. Please come with questions and/or magical gemstones.

Congratulations to the Future Business Leaders of America club for their strong performance at the FBLA Regional Bay Section Competition this last weekend. Frank Wang, Chris Gough, Rohan Rodrigues, Rahul Madhugiri, and Siddharth Marathe all placed in the top six of their divisions. Good luck at the state competition.

March Subsidized Bus Passes are available for $15.00 at the ASB. If you have any question on how to qualify for this bus passes, check with Ms. Moyoli.

Congratulations to the boys’ soccer team for clinching the El Camino league title on Tuesday as they defeated Lynbrook on Senior night with a 2-0 win. The team finished league with 9 wins, 1 loss, and 2 ties, and an overall record of 13 wins, 2 losses, and 4 ties. The Firebirds are expected to be a high seed in Division 1 of CCS playoffs with their 1st round game being either Tuesday or Wednesday of break.

Here's today's continuation of our Black History Month timeline. 1965 – Thousands participate in three protest marches from Selma to Montgomery, Ala, for Black voting rights. 1965 – President Johnson signs the Voting Rights Act of 1965. 1967 – In the Loving versus Virginia ruling, the Supreme Court declares the law prohibiting interracial marriages to be unconstitutional. 1967 – Thurgood Marshall becomes the first Black US Supreme Court justice. 1968 – Dr. King is assassinated. 1968 – President Johnson signs the Civil Rights Act of 1968, which prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing.
