A Word From A Former Band Instructor

Dear Fremont Firebird Marching Band Family,

It was a great pleasure to witness and be part of this past weekend. The journey to championships has been incredible. As an observer for most of the time, I saw first hand the tremendous work that is done by all. The many staff discussions throughout the weeks via email and before/after rehearsals to challenge, encourage, focus and better the band...the parents organizing all the behind the scenes to do lists to ensure the students are provided for and keep the band looking sharp...and last but not least, the students that pushed themselves, sweated, overcame frustrations and performed their hearts out. It is truly an awe inspiring experience. The road is never easy to achieve great things, but well worth the journey. This program is something special and I'm glad that I've been privileged to work and be a spectator of this magnificent group.

Cheers to a great season, here's to many more!
