SET UP EXCHANGE ON YOUR IPHONE, IPAD, OR IPOD TOUCH

When you add your Exchange ActiveSync account, you can sync your Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes with your iOS device.

Add your Exchange account

Tap Settings > Mail > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.
If you're adding another account, tap Accounts > Add Account.

Enter your address

Enter your email address, then tap Next. You can also enter an account description.

Connect to your Exchange Server

Tap Configure Manually to set up your account with Basic authentication. Enter your email password, server information, domain and username.

Email: first name_last name@fuhsd.org (ex. john_smith@fuhsd.org)

Server: mail.fuhsd.org

Domain: fhs (Other sites domain names: fuhsd, mvhs, hhs, lynbrook, chs)

Username: first name_last name (ex. john_smith)

Sync your content

You can sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes. When you're finished, tap Save.

Edit your Exchange settings

Tap Settings > Mail > Accounts, then select your Exchange account. You can also set up automatic out-of-office replies, and change how often you want Mail to sync.

SET UP EXCHANGE ON ANDROID DEVICE

1. Open your device's Settings app. Tap Accounts (it may be called Accounts & Backup or Users & accounts).
2. At the bottom, tap Add account.
3. Tap Microsoft Exchange Activesync
4. Enter your FUHSD email and password and click Manual Setup.

 

5. Enter the domain\username and exchange server settings.

Username: fhs\first name_last name

Server: mail.fuhsd.org

 

Click Next

How do I connect my Chromebook device to the FUHSD WiFi?

Open WiFi icon from the lower right corner of your Chromebook screen, choose “fuhsd” and input this configuration:

Network SSID: fuhsd

Security: 802.1x EAP (or WPA2-Enterprise or WPA2-EAP)

EAP Method: PEAP

Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2

Server CA Certificate:

User certificate: (unspecified)Do not check

Identity: (your email minus the @student.fuhsd.org or @fuhsd.org)

STAFF= firstname_lastname

STUDENTS= first initial+last name+last 3 digits of student ID

Password: user_password

Anonymous identity: (leave blank)

Save identity and password: ON

Click CONNECT Button to Proceed.

*If “fuhsd” is broadcasting, but the connection fails, “forget” the network and try again. If it still does not connect, try adding a new network as “fuhsd” and configuring everything manually from scratch.

 

How do I connect my Apple laptop to the FUHSD WiFi?

Step 1:  Click the wifi icon  at the top bar, choose “fuhsd”

Step 2:  Input the following:

Mode: Automatic

Username: (your email minus the @student.fuhsd.org or @fuhsd.org)

STAFF-- fhs\firstname_lastname

STUDENTS-- fhs\first initial+last name+last 3 digits of student ID

Password: the same password you use to log in at school

Ensure 'Remember Network' is checked

Click Join

 

FOR WINDOWS 8 & 10

Use fhs\Username and the same password you use to log on to school computers.

Username: (your email minus the @student.fuhsd.org or @fuhsd.org)

STAFF-- fhs\firstname_lastname

How do I connect my Android device to the FUHSD WiFi?

Connect using Android devices:

*There have been some instances on Android devices where wifi will not connect until the data plan is turned off. After the wifi connects, the data plan can be re-enabled.

 

How do I connect my iOS device to the FUHSD WiFi?

Step 1:  Under Settings>wifi, choose “fuhsd”

Step 2:  Enter username and Password and click Join

Username: (your email minus the @student.fuhsd.org or @fuhsd.org)

STAFF-- fhs\firstname_lastname

STUDENTS-- fhs\first initial+last name+last 3 digits of student ID

Your password is the same as the one you use to login to school computers

Step 3:  Trust the certificate DO-ISE-ADM-1.fuhsd

*If the connection fails, “forget” the network and try again. If it still does not connect, try adding a new network as “fuhsd” and configuring everything manually from scratch.
