Registration for AP Exams will take place between September 13-October 1. This registration window is mandated by the College Board© for all AP programs, and is not the decision of FUHSD or its schools. There will be no late registration. AP exams will take place from May 2-13, 2022. The exam fee is $115 for regular format exams and $125 for special format (World Language, Music Theory, Studio Art) exams. Please check with Ms. Moyoli, the ASB School Financial Technician, if you qualify for subsidized rates.

Below is a message from our Food Services department.  If you need a replacement Student ID card they are available for $5 at the ASB window. 

Food Services Department 

For the safety of our students and staff, food services will be going completely contactless and contact-free starting October 1st. We will be replacing the keypads in the cafeteria with touchless scanners. Students will be required to bring student ID cards to the cafeteria to get free brunch or free lunch. Scanners will help scan the barcodes on the ID cards and we will be able to serve our students safely and contact free.

 Para la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y personal, los servicios de comida serán completamente sin contacto y sin contacto a partir del 1 de octubre. Reemplazaremos los teclados en la cafetería con escáneres sin contacto. Se requerirá que los estudiantes traigan tarjetas de identificación de estudiantes a la cafetería para recibir un brunch o almuerzo gratis. Los escáneres ayudarán a escanear los códigos de barras en las tarjetas de identificación y podremos atender a nuestros estudiantes de manera segura y sin contacto.

Hard to believe that it's almost October and life is as close to normal as it has been in a while.

Our friends at the Fremont Union High Schools Foundation have organized an event called Youth Sports, Competition & Mental Health: Helping Young Athletes Succeed. Parents and students are welcome.

This event will be on Thursday, October 28th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm

We are especially in need of Adults to help with the Homecoming Varsity game on October 22, when we will be firing up the grills again to make our favorite burgers, dogs and tri-tip sandwiches.

The College application process can be overwhelming and intimidating for both parents and students. There are a myriad of decisions, conflicting information, and as a result the stress level tends to be high. Come join us for this informative lecture on "College Planning Road Map - Senior Class". This workshop will provide the attendees with an understanding of the application process for the Senior Class, and how to reduce the stress of getting through it all.

The session will focus on topics that are important to seniors, topics such as:

o Pandemic changes

o Profiling / selecting the right college

o Submission strategies

o Writing effective essays

o Selecting a major / career

o College interviews

o Insights on how to manage the stress of the process

o List of useful resources

Please come prepared to take notes. Photos or recording of the lecture is prohibited, and there will be no handouts.

About the Speaker: Syrous Parsay is a retired inventor, entrepreneur, lecturer, life coach, and career counselor. He frequently lectures on topics of disruptive technologies, entrepreneurship, science and dimensions of wellness, financial planning, college planning, and more.

The Theme for 2021-2022  is "I Will Change the World By...."

Like last year, everything is going to be virtual/digital.  

There will be a digital entry form coming from State PTA soon.  It will be basically the same as the form for last year.  I will share the information as soon as it is notified.

REFLECTIONS is a theme-based art competition. Winners move up to Council for further judging (similarly, winners advance to District, State, & National). The art must be created by the students as inspired by this theme! Please don't submit re-purposed past work; that violates the rules!
