Firebirds, we need to be good neighbors with our community and we've been made aware that there is a concern about street parking on Thursdays on Utica Drive. One day a week the City of Sunnyvale has a street sweeper clean up specific streets and Thursday they drive down Utica Drive. A request from our neighbor for Fremont students to not park on Utica on Thursdays has come to our attention. Please be a good neighbor and plan to avoid parking on Utica on Thursdays.

Are you passionate about the environment and dedicated to making a change?

Apply for the Tech Museum of Innovation Student Board! The student board is the perfect place for all students who are passionate about the environment, looking for ways to educate themselves, or generally seeking ways to take effective action in solving global issues!

As a youth leader of The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, you would engage with Bay Area high schoolers on the crucial topic of climate change through planning interactive workshops, interviews, and keynotes. Our biggest event is the Youth Climate Action Summit. This is a day-long summit that hopes to bring greater awareness surrounding the issue and solutions of climate change.

Applications close on April 30th at 11:59 PM. techclimatesummit.org

The YTF will commend up to 3 exceptional youth in Santa Clara County who have made a significant contribution to their community. The application will be due May 20. The top 10 applicants will be chosen for an interview round with YTF commissioners. The final 3 winners will be announced June 10, and honored in an awards ceremony at the County Building on June 20.
