This event has sold out! This notice is a reminder for those that have already preregistered or are waiting on the full waitlist for this event.

If you have registered through Eventbrite, please join the PTSA from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019, in the Shannon Theater at Fremont High School for session one of the Roadmap to College speaker series. This year and last year the session sold out and got very positive feedback.

College application process can be overwhelming and intimidating for both parents and students. There is a myriad of decisions, conflicting information, and as a result, the stress level tends to be high. Come join us for this informative lecture on "College Planning Road Map." Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors will walk away with a clear understanding of the college application process including:

  • Review of a step-by-step "roadmap" including how to plan for academics, testing, extra-curricular activities, college profiling and selection, submission strategies, writing effective essays, financial planning, and more.
  • Insights on how to manage the stress of the process
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of the students, parents, and support resources
  • List of useful resources

Cash for College – Financial Aid Night for Seniors

On Thursday, December 5 from 2:oopm- 7:00pm the Guidance Counselors will assist parents and students in the FHS Library with filling out Financial aid forms.  Come learn about all financial aid options and receive one-on-one assistance to complete and submit the FAFSA or DREAM Act application. Bilingual assistance available in Spanish.

The Tech Challenge is ready to launch, but you are needed! If you are great at communication, problem solving, and able to collaborate in a group, join the Tech Challenge!

Thee Tech Challenge is in its 33rd year and wants Fremont High School Students todesigv, document and develop solutions to real world problems. 

Information Clinics will take place on December 7, January 11, and February 1 and 8.

Craft Fair December 7th and 8th

Come Join Fremont High School for its Annual Craft Fair on December 7th and 8th!  The Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, December 7th: 10am-5pm and on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 10am-3pm.  For more information on Vendors visit the website. 

Bike to the future

Silicon Valley Clean Energy is seeking high school students to participate in the Bike to the Future design and innovation scholarship competition. a team of Fremont High School students won this competition in 2018! Last year, a team from Homestead High School claimed the first-place title and $7500 scholarship prize.

What is Bike to the Future?

Silicon Valley Clean Energy’s Bike to the Future scholarship competition provides high school students an opportunity to participate in clean transportation design, electrification, environmental innovation, and hands-on engineering as teams given an $1000 budget construct an electric bike from scratch and compete with the chance to win $18,000 in scholarship awards, including two new bonus awards; the best team spirit and best sportsmanship award, each valued at $1,000.

Students who are interested can attend a orientation on Jan. 15, at the Sunnyvale Community Center.

Competition day is on May 2, 2020 and located at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.
